Goals of LEADERSHIP SPEARFISH
To identify, train and motivate potential leaders. Participants will discover their own leadership abilities and identify areas for personal growth.
To provide these leaders with an awareness of the issues and opportunities facing the region. Research the past, present and future while exploring areas for personal involvement.
To encourage these trained and informed leaders to increase their involvement in local community affairs by matching their skills and interests to existing needs.
To develop a better understanding of personalities, group decision making, leadership and management styles, and insights gained from community and business leaders.
To build a network of community leaders with commitment to increase opportunities for the citizens of the region, the state and beyond.
